What is a “study”? — a study is a small painting where I focus on exploring color, light, and mood. I often paint these from a favorite memory, a special photo, or a moment I want to hold onto. This one in particular was where I wanted to experiment with capturing that little rainbow light streak that sometimes appears through a window or from a glare in a photo.
