I took a picture on False River in Louisiana of a lonesome little lotus flower not knowing if I would even paint it one day (see the last pic). I thought it might be too simple, but isn’t there something so beautiful about the art of noticing the simple things? A Moment to Myself is a reminder for you and me to take some time to start noticing the small, seemingly insignificant, things around us. The things we so easily pass by on a daily basis.

This is an original painting that comes in its own knotted, golden wall/tabletop frame. Has a small hook for hanging, but can stand on its own.
