I’ll be honest, I pretty much blacked out while I painted this. This is obviously one of the most intense paintings I’ve ever done and it’s like my brain couldn’t even process what was unfolding in front of me. But once I finished, I just sat and stared at it. For a long while. I couldn’t look away.

All He was repeating to me in different ways was “this is how much I love you”.

I was commissioned to do this painting a while back and finally took on the daunting task. I truly did not know where to begin, so I just kept praying about it and putting it off. Finally, I got the confidence to start and once I did I couldn’t stop until I finished. This will forever be one of the most powerful pieces I have ever done.
