Title: ‘Geauxlden Hour’
After celebrating the College World Series 2023 win, I knew that a painting of LSU’s Alex Box Stadium Skip Bertman Field was something that I had to put on a canvas. I included all of the small things that will definitely catch your eye if you’re a die hard Tiger fan—the strikeout K’s hanging on the railing, Skip Bertman and Paul Mainieri in the stands watching proudly, the retired number of Todd Walker, the Tony Chachere’s sign in the outfield, the starting lineup in the dugout with Coach Jay Johnson in the front, and the scoreboard of one of the last home games this season that led us to Omaha! I hope that this painting connects with those LSU baseball fans that have cheered this team on from the beginning.
Print Style Options
Paper Print: Printed on archival matte paper with a 1/2” extra border for framing purposes. Keep in mind, the sizes listed are the image sizes—they don’t factor in the extra border. Signed personally by Kathryn.
For example, an 8”x10” listed print would measure to be a 9”x11” because of the extra border.
Canvas Print: Printed on an archival canvas with a subtle semi-gloss finish to preserve the print for years. Stretched on a wood frame and ready to hang. Image is mirrored on a 1.5” edge, so no framing is needed. Artist signature is printed on the bottom left/right.
Floating Framed Canvas Print: Canvas print set in a floating frame that beautifully complements the artwork. The small shadow gap between the canvas and frame creates the signature “floating” effect, adding depth and dimension while allowing the artwork to remain the focal point. Available in oak, espresso, maple, white, black, silver, and gold finishes, this ready to hang option adds warmth, depth, and elegance to any space. Artist signature is printed on the bottom left/right.
Artist Embellished Canvas: Canvas print that is reworked by adding clear, heavy gel over the entire painting mimicking the original brushstrokes and texture to make the piece appear more like the original. Acrylic accents are also added in to enhance the print. Stretched on a wood frame and ready to hang. Signed personally by Kathryn at the bottom. Once finished, an artist embellished canvas becomes a unique piece of art that the collector can cherish forever and just might forget that it’s not an original.
